Sightseeing:
A visit to Betancuria is worth doing as this is the oldest settlement on the island dating back to 1620. The village is centred around the Cathedral of Santa Maria. Alternatively you may consider a day trip to the island of Lanzarote to visit the Timanfaia National Park and it’s Fire Mountains!
Biking:
Whether it is on road or off road biking there is something to suit everyone. Consider exploring this volcanic island by bike to discover the diverse landscapes as you enjoy a thrilling ride.
Camel Rides:
Being so close to North Africa there is a large camel population in Fuerteventura. There are various spots on the island that offer these trips with one of the most popular being the Camel Safari departing the Oasis Adventure park in La Lajita. The park also has a huge botanical garden with over 7000 varieties of plants.
Buggies:
Ride off road around the north of the island and enjoy the rustic side of Fuerteventura. Buggies can be rented from various locations around the island.
