A visit to Betancuria is worth doing as this is the oldest settlement on the island dating back to 1620. The village is centred around the Cathedral of Santa Maria. Alternatively you may consider a day trip to the island of Lanzarote for something different.

Biking:
Whether it is on road or off road biking there is something to suit everyone. Consider exploring this volcanic island by bike to discover the diverse landscapes as you enjoy a thrilling ride.

Camel Rides:
This is quite an exciting experience. Being so close to North Africa there is a large camel population which are bred for tourism. There are various places on the island that offer these trips with the most popular being at the zoo.

Buggies:
Ride off road around the north of the island and enjoy the rustic side of Corralejo. Buggies can be rented from various locations on the island.
