Surfing:

Amazing opportunities for surfing all along the coast from Encuentro to Cabarete and as far as El Boca, where the Atlantic Ocean joins the Yasica River.  Join the locals at El Boco on a Sunday for a Dominican party & whether you are learning or a seasoned surfer, theres a break for you.

Wakeboarding:

Head up to the Yasica river for  wakeboarding, sheltered from the wind  with glassy flat water in tropical beauty, the perfect spot for cross-training and learning new tricks.

Hiking:
We suggest you take a hiking trip in and around the surrounding area which offers lush countryside, breathtaking scenery and colourful communities where you will always receive a warm welcome from the locals.

Horse riding:
Whether you are a first time rider or have been riding for many years, you will not be disappointed in the trips available. You can ride on the beach along the ocean coast, or take trails through the lush tropical mountain forests, or both!

Scuba Diving:
Clear turquoise waters in the Sosua area, just 15 minutes from Cabarete cater for some fantastic and unique scuba diving & snorkelling experiences.

Sightseeing:
You may wish to visit some of the quieter beaches for total relaxation or explore further afield in the mountainous Jarabacoa area 3 hours from Cabarete. This area is flush with adventure opportunities, with the most popular being horseback riding and river rafting. It is a beautiful area for hiking in the fresh cool mountain air.

Rum Tour:
A tour around the Brugal Rum Factory is a must! The tour includes witnessing the manufacturing process of the various rums and ends with a daiquiri tasting and the opportunity to purchase the finer quality rums at best prices.

Cycling:
This is very popular from off road to road and also track. You can rent bikes from various locations on the island.
