With its beautiful weather, turquoise water and consistent winds year-round, Egypt is one of the world’s top destinations for kitesurfing and windsurfing holidays. We offer 8 resorts, each offering a different combination of wind and water conditions – see below for a quick guide.
The shallow, clear waters of the Red Sea also makes most Egyptian resorts ideal destinations for diving or snorkelling – day trips can be organised at most locations. Another major attraction is the ability to combine a beach holiday with some sightseeing – day excursions to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings can be arranged from resorts on the Red Sea coast for example – or you can add on a couple of days in Cairo to see the museums and pyramids.
As a major tourist destination, Egypt is easily accessed by a good range of flights from the UK and there are plenty of hotels to choose from. This means that it is one of the more affordable destinations, with well-priced holidays available at all times.
Within Egypt destinations include larger towns such as Hurghada and Sharm-el-Sheikh, private resort communities such as El Gouna andSoma Bay, smaller towns such as Dahab and isolated hotels where it is just you and the beach. Egypt caters for all types of holiday be it families, couples, solo travellers or groups – it just depends on what you are looking for! Give us a call and we will be happy to arrange a trip to the perfect spot.
In short, here in the UK we are really lucky to have some of the best kitesurfing on the planet just a few hours away, with so many flight options it’s a fantastic, flexible destination with some of the best wind stats on the planet – We love it and you will too!

RAMADAN
Ramadan is an annual holy festival that takes place in 2012 from 20 July to 18 August. From sunrise to sunset the faithful abstain from eating, drinking and smoking which means things happen at a slower pace. If you are visiting at this time you should be respectful of the fasting and keep pubic consumption to a minimum. It is also a good time to dress a little conservatively and a good time to learn to say ‘Happy Ramadan’ as this is appreciated by the locals.
