“Great destination! All inclusive kitesurfing straight from your hotel, really nice guys at the centre and easy kitesurfing.”

Sharm El Sheikh and Naama Bay was at one time just a simple fishing village, but now with its crystal clear water, untouched reefs and multitude of ship wrecks, it has become one of Egypt and the Red Sea’s most popular holiday destinations. It has grown to be a huge resort with over 200 hotels and is predominantly for divers. For us kitesurfers, we head away from the crowds to the more chilled end of Sharm - Nabq.

Nabq, just a 20 minute drive along the coast, is a much nicer, more chilled out resort with fewer hotels. It has a small ‘mall’ type area with a few bars and restaurants and of course a long, golden sandy beach with the kite centre at one end.

Nabq is an ideal place for all levels of  kitesurfer who want to kitesurf directly from the beach.  The centre is top notch, there are waves to play in and plenty of other activities are on hand if there’s ever a light wind day.  In the evening there’s a diverse night life to revel in.
