Soma Bay is a private resort development located 45 kms from Hurghada International Airport at the head of the spectacular Kiriazi Bay.  With the most incredible flat water and pristine sandy beaches plus a number of luxury hotels and great kiting,  it’s easy to see why we are seeing so many repeat customers heading here.

The hotels are all very well designed & comfortable, have panoramic views of the bay and you can use the restaurants at the various hotels, regardless of where you stay, through the ‘dine-around’ program which is run in the resort. Jump on the  shuttle bus that will run you between the hotels in the evening and down to the kite centre during the day.

This is an ideal resort for kiters and non kiters alike – When not enjoying the great kiting conditions, take in a quick 9 or 18 holes on the specially designed golf course or head to the amazing Thermes spa for a revitalising massage or beauty treatment   Alternatively visit the award winning local reef  where you can snorkel or dive. Simply take a walk down to the end of the long pier and from here you can experience this amazing underwater world without a long swim out to the reef!

The resort is still being developed, so new facilities are still being added – the latest is a small marina area with shops and restaurants. However, there is no town as such, so your holiday will be based at your hotel meaning you can just enjoy your sport and relax – perfect!
