Soma Bay is a private resort development located 45 kms from Hurghada International Airport at the head of a spectacular bay, with the most incredible flat water and pristine sandy beaches. The hotels have huge views of the bay, backed by a range of reddish hills which look particularly beautiful at sunrise and sunset.

There are a small number of luxury hotels, golf courses, a dive centre, one of the largest and most luxurious spa complexes we’ve ever seen and a superb kite centre – it really is special.

The resort is still being developed, so new facilities are still being added – the latest is a small marina area with shops and restaurants. However, there is no town as such, so your holiday will be based at your hotel, just enjoying your sport and relaxing.

There are private shuttles to run you around the resort and you can use the restaurants at the various hotels, regardless of where you stay, through a ‘dine-around’ programme. Life is made pretty easy for you here – there is even a long pier allowing you to snorkel without a long swim out to the reef!
