SUP: The kite centre also stocks a selection of SUP boards which provide a great no-wind alternative on the rare no-wind days.
Myrina: Myrina is the capital and the biggest town of the island. It is known for its pretty waterfront, neoclassical mansions and Venetian fortress on the hill. A bustling place with a great choice of restaurants and bars.
Moudros: Moudros is the second biggest town on Lemnos and has a lovely port area in which to enjoy a glass of wine and some people watching.
Bike rides: Bike are available to hire and are a great way to explore the island.
Byzantine Castle: The Byzantine Castle of Myrina stands on a hill overlooking the town. It was built by Emperor Andronicus Komninos and it can be accessed only on foot.
Kondopouli: Very close to Keros beach, Kondopouli Village is situated between two lakes which are home to the local flamingo population! You will also find the Caves of Philoctetes nearby.
Portianos Militiary Cemetry: Because of its position, the island of Lemnos played an important part in the campaigns against Turkey during the First World War. On the west side of Moudros Bay the cemetery was begun in August 1915 and used until August 1920.
