All around the south west peninsula there’s a host of wave spots and secret lagoons. For those looking for more than just watersports, the island has a whole host of adventure activites to keep the most active traveller occupied.
The trade winds start in July, are south westerly, so cross-on from the right, and are so consistent you can expect 6 out of 7 days wind.

The Centre, Courses & Kit
The Centre
The kitesurfing centre in Mauritius has full facilities and is in the best place on the beach for the local south westerly wind direction. The centre has a team of experienced, English-speaking IKO and VWDS instructors to teach you everything from the absolute fundamentals in the beginner course, to water-starting and power control techniques for the intermediates, not forgetting progression sessions for the advanced riders. The progression sessions consist of private coaching that includes video analysis of your riding.
