All around the south west peninsula there is a host of wave spots and secret lagoons. For those looking for more than just watersports, the island has a whole host of adventure activites to keep the most active traveller occupied.
The trade winds start in July, are south easterly, so cross-onshore from the left, and are incredibly consistent.

The Centre, Courses & Kit
The Centre
The kitesurfing centre in Mauritius has all the facilities you would expect and is in the best place on the beach for the local south easterly wind direction.
The centre has a team of experienced, English-speaking IKO and VWDS instructors to teach you everything from the absolute fundamentals in the beginner course, to water-starting and power control techniques for the intermediates, and of course progression sessions for the advanced riders including video analysis of your riding to look over once you’re back on dry land.
