Windsurfing is available at both our partner centres in the north and south camp. There is a magic about this place, with perfect winds and a seemingly endless lagoon offering up lovely flat water close to shore, and plenty of little ramps to jump off further out to sea.
If you’re chasing waves, excursions can be organised to the Atlantic coast, where perfect right handers peel downwind towards Dakhla town. This is some of the least crowded, perfect waveriding you’ll experience anywhere in the world!
Dakhla is a perfect place for every level of windsurfer, from complete beginners through to seasoned freestylers and waveriders, and should be on every sailors list of spots to experience at some point during their windsurfing career.

Centre, Courses & Kit
The Centre
Our partner centre is set right in the middle of the Sahara desert. The huge flat water lagoon offers ideal conditions for learning and improving your windsurfing skills. There is also the option of some fantastic wave spots on the ocean side which should not be missed!
Any wind direction works in the lagoon but the prevailing wind is north/north east. The wind blows from 15 to 25 knots all year round with summer having the strongest and most consistent conditions.
