Alacati Bay is just 1 hour from Izmir Airport and 15 minutes from the touristy town of Cesme. Its appealing historical town has numerous cafés, restaurants, bars, market stalls and narrow cobblestone streets as well as centuries old wind mills and orchards of gum trees.

For windsurfers this is paradise – the combination of consistent winds, a safe 500m long and 400m wide area with totally flat water makes it a perfect spot for all levels of surfers from beginners, both adults and children to free stylists. Additionally, due to its great location there are many events that take place, here including the annual PWA, professional windsurfers competition.
