As mentioned, Paje is situated on the east coast of Zanzibar and is just 35 miles from the airport. The area itself is one of the most pristine on the island and still not reached by mass tourism. The beaches around here are just stunning, interspersed with picturesque fishing villages where the people live a simple way of life, unchanged over the years.

For kiters of all levels, Paje is a dream! Imagine miles of unspoiled white sand beaches, 40kms of untouched coral reef and the extraordinary experience of sailing with friendly dolphins! While most of your time will be spent in and around the resort and on the beach it is worth exploring a little and perhaps visiting nearby Stone Town. Getting around is easy and the quickest and safest way is by taxi. Our top tip: don’t forget to barter to get the best price!
